JOHN
THE GUVNOR

A keen shot from an early age introduced by his father.

After landing his dream Job at Bamfords has now taken the sport very seriously having gained full instructor qualifications from both APSI and CPSA and also undertaken further advanced courses around personal improvement and coaching technique.

John is a keen member of the Southport & District Wildfowlers Association, and loves shooting many disciplines.

His passion is clear when you meet him and his main objective in the shop is to help others enjoy as much as he does.

JAYE
AIRHEAD

Jaye leads the Bamfords team air rifle division which has seen huge growth from next to nothing 5 years ago to what must be one of the best stocked air rifle shops in the north.

Jaye is extremely proud of his shop in shop department within the Bamfords family and his enthusiasm is clear to everyone.

Jaye is a keen air rifle shooter and uses target practice to keep a keen eye for vermin control duties.

KYLE
THE WALL

We all lean on Kyle to keep things in order at Bamfords. His organised approach means we can rely on him to do the necessary.

Kyle has recently started Clay pigeon shooting and is clearly a natural.  Helped by John to get him started, we think he may become Bamfords number one shot.

Kyle is usually the first contact at Bamfords and is able to guide and help all of our customers through any query from repairs, storage, firearms transfers, exports and also advice on guns.

CONNAH
THE PRO

There isn’t much in the shooting world that Connah hasn’t had serious involvement with. Whether you are looking for advice on how to trap a magpie, arrange a decoy field, how to go about game shooting or stalking, Connah will be able to help. Very knowledgeable on rifles and ammunition, Connah brings a completely new arm to Bamfords that we have never offered before. He has worked on some of the top estates as a gamekeeper and shoots nearly every day.

Highly regarded by many local farmers and gets the job done.

Connah also loads and drives for some of our best customers allowing them the confidence to make the most of their game shooting experience.

LAWRENCE
THE GRAFTER

Having given Bamfords nearly 60 years of his life, what we have now would not be possible without his hard work. He lived and breathed shooting and was lucky to be able to work in an industry he loves.

Still as fit as ever and with an immaculate garden now his time at the shop is over. Lawrence makes more of the shooting season now he has the freedom of time.

ALAN JONES
THE INITIATOR

Alan was the first to sell a shotgun from the Bamfords store in Eccleston.

From having 2 shotguns on the shelf in the 1940’s to now over 600 quality shotguns to choose from.   He really started something.
